Across the country, innovative organizations are building spaces, programs, and collaborations designed to meet business owners where they are and help them grow. In recognition of National Hispanic Heritage Month, we want to highlight a few a few stand out ESOs.


A dynamic hub that combines coworking, mentorship, and cultural celebration, CentroVilla provides Hispanic-owned small businesses with the space and support they need to scale. In Kansas City, two powerful chambers of commerce have joined forces to create the Minority Chamber Development Center. The Minority Accelerator Program (MAP Lab) equips growth-stage entrepreneurs with training, coaching, and access to capital. As a bridge between academia and the marketplace, UTRGV helps innovators transform research, ideas, and prototypes into market-ready products. The Center also hosts a variety of supportive and culturally fluent programs for business owners and social enterprises regardless of stage of business, including FastTrac programming, 1Million Cups and The Failure Institute. How they can help businesses: Soup to nuts programming with hands-on guidance, training, community support and commercialization resources throughout their entrepreneurial journey.


Pharr Global Business Hub - UTRGV and Pharr Economic Development Corporation

Strategically located at the U.S.–Mexico border, the Pharr Global Business Hub helps businesses expand into international markets. How they can help businesses: Access cross-border trade expertise, international networking, and global growth opportunities.
